Slave To The Rhythm是L.A. Reid和Babyface在1991年为《Dangerous》专辑创作的歌曲，
关于一个被束缚已久想要挣脱的现代女性，毫无疑问是歌迷(更是L.A.)的心头好。

复活表演
迈克尔·杰克逊纪念专辑《Xscape》已于2014年5月13日在美国发售，虽然迈克尔·杰克逊不能为此宣传造势，但19日公告牌音乐颁奖礼却为他留出特写空间。
MJ 19日，主办方通过全息影像还原技术使迈克尔·杰克逊在舞台上热舞首秀新单曲《Slave to The Rhythm》，穿着金色夹克和红色裤子的迈克尔·杰克逊坐着宝座亮相，舞台四周喷出火焰，开启杰克逊全场热舞的模式，杰克逊带领舞者再度秀出太空步等经典舞步，这一难以想象的场面令出席颁奖礼的众多明星起立鼓掌。
已故天王迈克尔·杰克逊在2014年5月19日举行的"公告牌"颁奖典礼上的"复活"演出震撼了全场，短短的数分钟表演宛如真人重现。但根据其遗产管理委员会得到的信息，这并非单纯的模仿者又或是全息技术。
这段表演的制作者是John Textor，他是曾经多次获奥斯卡的"数字王国"特效公司的老总，他的团队曾用全息复活说唱巨星Tupac Shakur。MJ的"复活"是100多个演职人员长达1年多时间的努力，MJ坐在专辑《Dangerous》里类似的王座上，开始演唱"节奏奴隶"(Slave to the Rhythm)这首收录在其最新遗作专辑《Xscape》的歌曲。但惊喜并不仅仅如此，在演出中可以看到MJ展现出了招牌的太空步，原地旋转等经典舞台动作。
在演出结束后对遗产委员会工作人员的访问中得悉，这次采用的是运用在《阿凡达》及《返老还童》等3D特效电影中的先进技术，但更详细的信息对方并不愿意透露。"我更愿意将之称之为迈克尔的魔法。"工作人员如此对采访的记者说道。那么，我们也将之认为是来自MJ的一场绚丽魔法吧。
