概况
黄桥镇是泰兴市"副中心"、泰州市"小来自城市"、江苏省"强镇扩权"试点镇，镇行政服务中心具有泰兴市行政服务中心相同的行政审批权限。辖区面积180平方公里，总人口20万人，中心镇区人口12万人。

区位
黄桥工业园区在长三角经济圈中处于承接东西、沟通南北的通衢宣连要冲。高速公路、铁路、水运、空运已组成密集、便捷的立体交通网络。京沪高速、宁通高速、制仍老握介宁靖盐高速交汇连通，上海虹桥机场到达黄桥工业园区，由沪宁高速--沿江高速--过江阴长江大桥， 15分钟即可到达宁靖盐高速设在园区的出入口，下高速就到达园区的腹地，总车程约2小时。距扬州泰州国际机场、南通、无锡、常州机场仅一小时车程。规划中的沪泰高铁通车后，40分钟将可到达上海;

一、Brief
Taixing, north of Jiangyin Bridge, an important portal from central & north Jiangsu to south Jiangsu, known as "Home of Ginkgo", "Home of Education", "Home of Building" and "Home of Reducers", has joined in a row among the national basic competitiveness of economy counties (cities) for the 11th time and is one of Jiangsu Province Administrating Restructuring Pilot Counties (Cities) with the same administration authority as that of cities divided into districts. Taixing has a population of 1,200,000 and 1,172 square meters in area.
Huangqiao ,"Sub-Centre" of Taixing, "Little City" of Taizhou, "Strong Town to Enlarge" pilot town, with the same administrative approval authority as that of Taixing, has a population of 200,000 (120,000 in downtown) and 180 square meters in area.
Huangqiao was set up in Shenzongyuanfeng Years Beisong Dynasty with long history, profound culture, talented people and civil customs. The ancient lanes lead to charming sceneries in the downtown. 二、Location
Huangqiao Industrial Park lies in the gateway of Yangtze Delta. There're entrances and exits of Jing-Hu Express, Ning-Tong Express and Ning-Jing-Yan Express. It takes about 2 hours from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport to Huangqiao Industrial Park (Hu-Ning Express-Yanjiang Express-Jiangyin Bridge, reach Huangqiao Industrial Park in 15 minutes) by car. It only takes about 1 hour from Yangzhou-Taizhou International Airport, Nantong, Wuxi, or Changzhou Airport by car. It takes only 40 minutes to Shanghai by train (Hu-Tai Railway planned);
Railway: there's a stop of Xinchang Railway connecting Longhai and Jinghu routes for passengers and cargos in the park.
Waterway: Taixing Port, 40KM away from Huangqiao, is open for foreign vessels. It's a natural port,15m deep in low water period and over 20m deep in high water period. Many chemical, construction, LG and oil products have been built there. The Max. berth is up to 50,000T for handling of containers and bulk cargos. The annual handling is about 450,000T. It only takes about 1 hour to Rugao Port, Jiangyin Port or Taizhou Port by car.

There have been over 500 electromechanical enterprises in Taixing covering three main industry chains: reducers, shipbuilding and auto parts. In addition, there is fine forging chain based on cold, hot and fine forged gears, crankshaft and con-rod and electronics chain based on no-contact distributor, high voltage ignition coil and sensor. Diesel engine products have occupied 65% of domestic market and fine forging products have occupied 60% of domestic market.
Huangqiao Industrial Park is the main land of Taixing electromechanical enterprises.
